During its infancy, the WBCA Pink Zone game at Penn State divided its funds among the WBCA, PBCC, and the Komen Foundation. As the event grew and dollars raised increased, the decision was made to partner with local hospitals and organizations so donors would have a better grasp on how the money was being used. Today, Pink Zone at Penn State is proud to recognize six beneficiaries which include: Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Cancer Institute, Kay Yow Cancer Fund, PA Breast Cancer Coalition, J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital, and Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
