The 19th annual Play 4 Kay Game for the Penn State women’s basketball team and the related Pa. Pink Zone celebrations around the game at the Bryce Jordan Center again provided many highlights as the signature event for Pa. Pink Zone was conducted Feb. 16.
With the hundreds of survivors in attendance, there was a total of 1,620 years, nine months and 15 days of survivorship on the floor when the survivors were recognized at halftime of the Lady Lions’ game against Wisconsin.
Survivors and their families were able to celebrate and meet with others survivors, as well as members of the Lady Lions basketball team and the Nittany Lion mascot. Survivors were also cheered and honored as they processed on a “Pink Carpet.”
