PA Pink Zone has entrered into a strategic partnership with Centre Volunteers in Medicine, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free quality health care to the uninsured in Centre County.
“Everyone at Pink Zone is absolutely thrilled to partner with CVIM. We look forward to working to improve the lives of men and women in Centre County through CVIM’s Breast Care Program,” said PA Pink Zone’s executive director, Trish Fulvio.
“This new synergistic partnership will combine the networks of both organizations to maximize the impact and expand outreach to those who need help from early detection through treatment,” according to Marianne Hazel, CVIM director of philanthropy and community engagement.
Through this partnership, Centre Volunteers in Medicine and PA Pink Zone will collaborate on various initiatives, including increasing awareness of the benefits of early breast cancer detection and utilizing local resources available for breast cancer patients. By pooling their respective knowledge, experience and resources, the two organizations will be able to drive meaningful outcomes and magnify their impact for the betterment of men and women in central Pennsylvania.
